Zen To Nowhere Comics
Zen To Nowhere: Comics: Paul-Felix Montez: Two Zen characters ask and answer questions of the universe and our egos. New comics made each week!
Zen To Nowhere was started by a regular guy who looks at the state affairs in our world and is so often confused by the vast conflicting efforts of so many to hold onto so little and the grand illusions & delusions which seemingly look like boundless power but are not. I believe in people and our innate ability to overcome the sheer stupidity and waste that define this global power struggle.
Let me explain more clearly. I created a world peace project, it won numerous awards, rave reviews, and even an all expenses paid trip to the United Nations to present to Nobel peace Laureates the scope and potential of my global art peace project. Major art critics endorsed it, architecture and design magazines “This is the most powerful monument for world peace” and much more praise too. The global peace monument to be located in 100 locations in various cities worldwide would when it reaches that goal, become the world’s largest peace monument in human history. A statement for all of us about what we “will become” in the 21st century, a world where peace is possible beyond borders.
Many cities contacted me, but the project lost it’s forward growth towards realization, leading me to question how something so low cost, simple, and easy to install and providing global “smart tech” interconnectivity could find itself at a standstill. I wondered have we become so consumed by self-centredness and blaming others, versus that of what we could achieve in “Peacemaking” in all its varied forms? Are we left so fearful and divided, that solutions staring us right in the face, become the things we rage at and hate is it because we lack the empathy to sacrifice a little for the other side? Yet to bring wisdom and good to one’s own life and the world is the mission and will go on.
So, I decided to turn my energies toward what seemed to be so clearly everywhere. I decided to explore my own and the world’s vast sheer human stupidity and its equally vast delusions and do it with humor, after all laughing at how human nature is excused for a lack of addressing our global social ills is quite popular. Doing something about is another story.
